Challenge
Hotel and commercial laundries wash many types of linen. The washer needed programs for each fabric type and soil level, precise control of water, temperature and detergent, and efficient, reliable operation that uses water and energy carefully.
Solution
Fill, wash, rinse and extract now run automatically, and the program controls water level, temperature and detergent dosing. Multiple programmable recipes cover different fabrics and soil levels. The control system runs on a Wecon PLC with a Wecon HMI.
The HMI shows real-time status, alarms and fault messages, safety interlocks protect the operator and the machine, and the system logs operating data for performance monitoring. Before installation, the program was run and checked on the HMI on the bench.
