Challenge
Pipe tests had to be accurate, reliable and repeatable, and every result had to be documented for quality control and traceability without manual record keeping.
Solution
The test rig now shows make and break values in ft·lb, with the matching pressure in psi, and bar graphs show the live readings. The control system runs on a Wecon PLC with a Wecon HMI.
The system generates test reports automatically, including the make and break values of each test.
